Questions

Everything you need to know.

Do I need a professional background to apply?+

No. NSR is designed for anyone who works with people, or who wants to understand the body and nervous system more deeply. We have had practitioners, coaches, therapists, movement teachers, and people with no professional background at all complete the programme. What matters is genuine curiosity and a real commitment to the work.

What does a typical training day look like?+

Each weekend combines taught content with embodied practice. The mornings tend to be more conceptual, building the framework, working through the neuroscience and somatic theory. The afternoons are practical: observation exercises, partner work, and applying what you have learned to real bodies. Days are full but not rushed. The cohort cap of 8 people means everyone gets genuine attention and time.

What do I receive when I qualify?+

You receive an IPHM-accredited NSR Practitioner Certificate and approximately 40 CPD hours. You also receive the full NSR Method Student Handbook, which covers all 14 modules in depth, with references and further reading throughout. The qualification is in your own name and recognised through IPHM.

Is this a substitute for therapy or medical treatment?+

No. NSR is a practitioner education programme, it teaches you to work with the nervous system through somatic observation, movement, breath, and attuned touch. It is not a medical or psychological qualification, and it does not replace training in psychotherapy, physiotherapy, or medicine. If you already hold a professional qualification, NSR is designed to complement and deepen what you do, not replace it.

What is the deposit and payment structure?+

A $500 (1,836 AED) non-refundable deposit secures your place in the cohort. The remaining balance is due before the programme begins. The founding cohort rate of $2,200 (8,080 AED) is available for the March 2027 intake only, the standard rate applies from June 2027 and will be $3,500 (12,854 AED). Payment plan options are available on request.

Will there be more cohorts after March 2027?+

Yes. A second cohort is planned for September or October 2027, delivered in a condensed 3–4 day format at the standard rate. Details will be announced after the Abu Dhabi cohort graduates. The Abu Dhabi cohort remains the only one at the founding rate.
